🌟 Celebrating Success at Woodland Middle School! 🌟
This week, Principal Kennedy and Assistant Principal Busby celebrated students who are meeting their i-Ready expectations by rewarding them with fresh popcorn during lunch! 🎉🍿
At Woodland Middle, our students are working hard to stay on track and achieve their goals with i-Ready, an online program for reading and math that personalizes learning to help each student grow. To meet the weekly expectations, students must:
1. Complete at least 2 math and 2 reading lessons successfully 📚✏️
2. Stay on task Monday - Thursday ✅
3. Reach at least 45 minutes in each subject 🕒
i-Ready’s powerful tools enable our teachers to understand each student's needs and support their growth. We are so proud of our students’ hard work and commitment to excellence! 👏 Let’s keep up the great work, Wolves! 🐺💪 #WoodlandPride #iReady #StudentSuccess

Previously on Wednesday, the Woodland Wolves faced off against the Dubose Wildcats in an intense game that ended with a score of 8-22. Despite the loss, the Wolves had some great plays on the field. #9 Jet Riley started the night with a 75-yard kick return touchdown and also contributed three tackles throughout the game. #12 Jaxson Clifford was impressive, executing a two-point conversion, making three rushing plays, and also recording three tackles.
Following that, #40 Sir'Mani Grampus made a catch, and #80 Zah'Den Simmons had a notable 10-yard reception. On a fake punt, #25 Connor Jackson made a significant 10-yard catch, securing a first down. Additionally, #22 Khalin Bryant stood out with four tackles, while #32 Aiden Bauerle showcased his skills with two tackles and a pass deflection. #7 Mason Johnson deflected three passes and made two tackles, adding to his stats. Lastly, #82 De'Montai Felder contributed to the defensive highlights with a sack.
Although the Wolves didn't end the night the way they wanted to, their individual performances showed determination and hard work. The team is looking forward to bouncing back stronger and more unified than ever in their next game at Woodland High on Wednesday, October 23rd, against the East Edisto Wolves. We look forward to seeing you there! Go Wolves!
