Hi, I would like to thank you for checking out my Bio!  I started out in the educational field as an attendance clerk in Macedonia SC,  moved into teaching computer science as a programmer, earned my teaching degree through Charleston Southern and the University of South Carolina, and earned my counseling degree through The Citadel as an evening student. Children are my life and I love teaching about having good character and making good choices as a counselor.  I have written grants totaling around $20k for the improvement of the schools for which I have served. It has been a thrill to work with companies that value education which they demonstrate with my "Day of Caring" projects.   I have never been given bonus money to teach or counsel (but it would be nice).  My philosophy is "knowledge is power"  and "it takes a village to raise a child"!
